  As bad as the band are, they're still not the worst thing about England matches. The dreary football served up is. It's a double whammy of dismalness, really. How anyone derives any pleasure out of watching the qualifiers and friendlies is beyond me, but each to their own. I can only just about stomach watching them every 2 years in the proper tournaments.

  I have a theory that England sub-consciously play to the tempo of the band and that is why our football is so awful!

  I don't mind the band but then again I listen to them at every Wednesday home game. To be honest they are very love or hate at Hillsborough as well.
