Jenna Coleman was superb.

Props to her.
Amazing what a bit of decent writing can do for a character!
I am trying to erase series 7b from my memory, due to its sheer crapness.

But she's really come into her own now.
Long may she continue alongside the doctor with decent scripts she will go far!

I totally agree, not that I found 7B a major problem. I really enjoyed the part where she sat down with Hurt and chatted with him in the vault to get to the heart of the issue of the problem of the moment.

Lets hope that Capaldi doesn't leave her on some planet somewhere. :D

Off topic but when did she change her name?

I agree with the OP, I think tonight was Jenna's finest performance yet, I was hugely impressed. She's certainly settled into the role now, and I'm really starting to like Clara again as much as I did in Asylum of the Daleks! :)

    I was wondering that too!

This episode was the first one that she dropped her middle name. There was some blurb about it a few months ago.

She got the Doctor to change his mind, with just a look. And what a perfect look.

Yes, she was definitely a lot better than in 7b.

eta: I mean the character of Clara. I think Jenna has always done as much as she can with the writing she has had.

Clara is the impossibly pretty girl.

That was probably the best scene in the episode.

Now I am going to have to go back to see where you are talking about! I can't remember the scene.
