If UK were to host the Eurovision, who would present?

Graham Norton would have to be a shoe-in.

If Christine Bleakley was still with the BBC, I'd imagine she would have been picked.

Alex Jones would be too inexperienced and she doesn't offer much to the table.

Claudia Winkleman- I'd love her to do it but I don't think she would.

Would they have a newsreader present it?

If the BBC were really stuck there's always Fearne Cotton

I wouldn't want Graham Norton. Or Terry Wogan. Or Sara Cox. Or Scott Mills. So that narrows it down a bit :p

Graham & Claudia would be great IMO
Tess Daly would be great because she looks the part and she's used to Strictly, but don't know if she'd manage it?
Fearne could actually be quite good, she's loads of experience.
Maybe Matt Baker, or Steve Jones, or Gaby Logan?

Terry and graham to walk on first to welcome europe, then Paddy and Claudia or Ferne to take over for the rest of the show.

Well I personally hope we go back to two hosts, either if we win or don't. 3 hosts just leaves one person as third hand.

Anyway, my choice would be Graham Norton & Tess Daly. Terry Wogan could do a one-off commentary as we'd be back on home ground.

Yeah - there's bound to be a whole new bunch of vote-announcers that she can be incredibly rude to! :D

You'd need a presenter to co-present with Graham Norton - who has linguistic skills.
Eurovison presentation has to be in English and French (and the language of whoever that year's host country is).
So the UK would need to find a competent presenter - used to live tv - who also speaks French!
That should narrow the field a bit!!
I think Jenni Falconer does speak languages...
    Maybe Mylene?....
    I'm going down the male/female co-presenter route...

Just a reminder - despite what the BBC think, straight men can work on Eurovision too, you know.

    Good thinking...

Davina McCall is fluent in French... she lives in France every summer.

However, the BBC is trying to push Alex Jones, a bit too much fo my liking. It really annoys me how Alex gets so much gigs in the space of six months and Christine hardly got anything in the space of thre years.

Yes, Davina speaks fluent French and probably a few others as well! Duncan was throwing out several european phrases in one interview (including Swedish) and whilst obviousy not fluent he sounded authentic :) Bit of eye candy for the ladies too ! And some men (sorry forgot)

I think it has to be Graham but if not then Duncan James is actually not a bad idea. He's well spoken, handsome and the previous year's winner. Not sure about the woman... someone classy like Myleene or Christine Bleakley.
