Part of me thinks that it appears to be cultural, but part of me can't help but judge.

What age must she have started having sexual relations if fell pregnant at that age? Bet she had hardly started periods as 10 is rather early for them.

Early onset puberty is a known medical condition though.
In a remote Peruvian village it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that a child with this condition might get pregnant.
Although it saddens me that it could happen.
