Did i not read somewhere he was advised not to make any racist or sexist jokes? Assuming they are going to say "the product they bought was not as per their request"
Think its rubbish myself but would not surprise them to try and get away with such a thing

I very much doubt that they actually said that. He would have told them to bugger off. My understanding was that they didnt book him directly though so they may feel they have some recourse through an agency or whatever.

'In a conference call with Reginald and three members of The London Speakers Bureau, through which he was recruited, it was outlined the makeup of our audience which would be widely diverse including around 25 per cent of women and ages ranging from 18 to 80.
'It was made absolutely clear that swearing or any racist references were to be avoided. Therefore we were totally dismayed that the performance was the exact opposite of our requirement.'
Still dont think they have a leg to stand on, since it was advised such jokes "were to be avoided" and not banned but we know what the PFA are like

It begs the question why they hired him? His stand up style is hardly a secret. As someone said earlier today its like hiring a man eating lion and then complaining when it eats a man. The clues are there.

Either they are idiots or they thought the media would not pick up on the story. Either way someone has to take the blame

Easy.
Because the English PFA like their Football Association are a hypocritical xenophobic incompetent power hungry egotistical organisation, more interested in what twitter and the Leveson enquiry hating media thinks of them, than doing things correctly. Little wonder they are rightly regarded as a laughing stock by the more professional, yet more corrupt UEFA & FIFA organisations.
Instead of getting outraged and trying in vain to get their fee back, when they wrongly booked a guy who just did his usual routine, maybe they should just give him a 8 match ban (after all he is not English where you get your ban cut in half ) so they can throw the book at the American.
Never mind, I here they are playing safe next year and booking Mike Tyson for the comedy; and JLS to provide the music.
The PFA will demand that Tyldesley returns his fee for tonights commentary from ITV for using the word "Bender". As they have already established, context doesnt matter.

A bit like when Celtic had Rafael Scheidt, or Millwall's Fuchs!

His career is clearly over-never get work after this!

Fox/Matt Groening should be all over him, too.
Also in some languages "kaka" means "shit", or some variation of "poop".
He'll be lucky to wake up with his head still on his shoulders at this rate!

Under what grounds could they withhold payment??
No idea how they could do it justifiably.
As Dara O'Briain just retweeted, only the PFA could oppose racism by trying to get a black man to work without pay.
He did the job advertised, or as they asked him to do, so I cannot see on what grounds they could withhold payment.
This could get very messy indeed.

It is bizarre they booked him if all the members of the PFA are so sensitive though.
I wonder how many were actually offended against believing they should act offended when hearing certain words.

..............there was Lopez Ufarte years ago...........but that was a gentler era
Honestly though, the PFA should have hired Mary Poppins if they wanted a wholly clean routine.
