Save a dead character

If you could go back and save one character from any soap from their death, who would it be?
For me, it'd be a toss-up between Kathy Beale, Pete Callan and Roy Evans.
Ultimately it would have to be Roy. I love the other two much more, but if he hadn't have been killed off poor Pat wouldn't be alone now. She'd have her husband, still be living at Number 41 and I tell you something, with Roy there she'd never have been swindled out of her money by that awful Wilfred.

Pete Callan (Family Affairs), disliked him when I first saw him but I grew to like him alot. Very good actor and hot too! Good character there was no need to kill him off.
Tiffany Mitchell - loved the character, it was so sad when she got hit by that car! Grant and Tiff were a great couple!
Jamie Mitchell - I know the actor wanted to leave but cutting a life so short was a tragic waste. He was caring, kind and loyal. I have no doubt Sonia would be living happily with Jamie now instead of the guy who killed her fiance. :mad:
Steve Owen - there were periods where I didn't like the guy much but in the end I respected him. Mel and Steve were a great couple!
Noah Lawson (Home and Away) Hayley and Noah were my favourite couple. Would have preferred it if Dani had copped the bullet that killed Noah if someone had to die. Dani was a whinge bag by the end of her stint on HAA.
The dead character I miss most would be Fred, I say it'd be Fred.

Kathy and Cindy were great characters, they deserved better.
Same here, I loved his character and he was always sadly underused.
They never should have killed off Paul Trueman, although i remember his final episode being very good.
Also, even though it is recent - Stella Crawford. I miss her already

She was the best villain the show had for a while. She could have had so much more stories. I was interested in knowing what her ex-husband was like.
Same, she was like my nana also who we lost earlier that year so she was like a reminder then she went also :eek:
