Hardly surprising that only 200 clicks can have that effect seeing as the recent makeover to the [Guardian] site is bloody awful.
Does the site still show top news in the last 24 hours from about 6 years ago?
They're not - I'm not sure you understand how 'hits' work. If lots of people click on an article from 2009, it jumps to the top, which happens frequently on the BBC website if something goes viral on social media.
Yes that piece about the Anaconda eating a Crocodile(of some description) and then bursting (too much Chilli sauce probably) has hit the top on several occasions over time.
