Even though he says he misses it, he clearly recognizes that there is no need for Jack to return by mentioning the 'circle of stories' which he couldn't get out off.
Wouldn't mind him coming back for an episode here and there regarding Carols cancer, as it would be unrealistic for Jack not to be told about it! But not any interaction with Ronnie as that's been done to death and we don't need to see any more
No offence to him but i'm sooo glad he left when he did just after Ronnie came back, if he stayed any longer he would have completely dragged her character down and without him she is going in the most interesting direction! Her development since coming back has been amazing!
Jack was mainly wallpaper. Since then the show has got the decorators in who are doing a grand job! Neither is the character needed nor should he return.
Jack Branning. Came in with so much promise. Anything interesting about the character was quickly sapped away in the first two years of his stint and he spent the remainder of his time floating around aimlessly as deadwood.
I never minded Jack that much,I just thought they completely wasted his character. When he first appeared,he had a much darker side to him. They then put him with Ronnie, which I never bought into and made him a laughing stock, as the Mitchell breeding stallion.
Looks like Scott Maslen's plans to crack Hollywood didn't work out.Not a surprise,as he's a limited actor and too old for a lot of parts.

Misses the financial security??? Didn't he realise that before??? Weird!
I find Eastenders actors so lazy!!! Once they've been on the show and left they think they can just come back and doss any time!!!??
Thank god he's gone!
Jack was never very interesting and I got sick of his constant and what seemed like only storyline of bedding women.
Not missed IMHO.
