Oh God I'm 40!

As the title says...despite my best efforts to put it off, my 40th birthday has arrived.

How the hell did that happen so fast?!😁

Any suggestions to get through today gratefully received!!!

    Just say you are 21 for the 20th time over. Problem solved. :)

    I think the only thing that made 40 seem bearable for me was the vague memory of being dragged along to someone's 40th when I was about 25. At first I was like "40? That's gonna be a SHIT party!" but it was ace.

    Oh, and happy birthday! I had balloons with mudkips on them at mine. Yeah, PROPER adult stuff.

    It may help to remember that the likes of Gwen Stefani, Jared Leto, Jim Parsons, Posh Spice...etc have all got there before you.

    I won't live long enough to have a hope of getting back to 40. Life hurtles by faster, the older you get. So just laugh at Father Time and make the most of it, you lucky young thing!:D
