That made me laugh! Most of us on here are nice people and would be worth saving:D
I'd call the police from a distance so as not to spook them.
After that I'm not sure as I wouldn't want to make things worse and some things are best being dealt with by experts.
If the jump seemed as though it would be imminent I guess I'd try and stop them as you'd have nothing to lose then, but I'd never forgive myself if they jumped anyway.Tricky one, but I know for sure I wouldn't walk away and do nothing.

Apart from your life, you could be taken with the jumper.
I disagree, it is your business. It's all our businesses, as it is to be aware of mental health. We all have it after all and one in four of us will have a mental illness. It's our job to support one another. Even strangers you don't know.
I genuinely think I'd try to help. Whether that would be misguided help or not, I don't think I could willingly stand by and not at least try to talk to them and see if they could consider another option.
The story of the guy who was going to jump off Waterloo bridge and then found his rescuer years later shows that people can and indeed do make a difference at times and that not all people looking to commit suicide are absolutely set on this goal. If you can help to give someone a second chance or the opportunity to seek help where it is available then why the hell not.
Firstly, if you knew Ebony's post history you'd know this wasn't trolling.
Secondly, having a different opinion doesn't equate to trolling, even if that opinion is a league away from your own.

You wouldn't even contact the police?
What would you do if it was a lemming?
You really seem to lack empathy for your fellow humans don't you. That's actually very sad. Yet you would no doubt save an animal about to fall.

Depends
Nope
And I disagree with you
Could be a cry for help and you just walking away could be the tip of iceberg what makes them jump
I'm not the type of person who would walk away and do nothing in any situation where someone may need help even if I put myself in danger.
Could be teetering on the brink of doing themselves in and your meddling pushes them over the edge, literally and figuratively.
How kind
True...
Why wouldn't you even call 999?
No, I wouldn't want to be involved in any way shape or form
Obviously trolling
No...

So you wouldn't because you don't care.
Can you actually put into words why you wouldn't bother to make a phone call that could save someone's life?
