Nice gesture from O2

Heard something drop on the doormat this
morning and it was a small package from O2 to say "thank you" for being with them. It was a small bar of chocolate with a printed card. No obvious reason for it, I have been with them for years, I am a very low usage customer and my contract is nowhere near running out.

Just seemed a nice touch and very unusual with businesses these days.

And you've done exactly what they hoped you would do.

Oh I won't mention that to my mum, I don't know why she's still with them, they have no sense of customer loyalty! Her latest contract had finished (about £40 a month) so she asked them for a better deal They were offering one for £15 pounds which included a package she could work with yet they told her she wasn't allowed to have it! Orange on the other hand gave me a £15 discount per month just for staying with them. I will never personally chose them as my mobile provider, even though free chocolate sounds great :p.

I on the other hand have just terminated my contract with o2, and this morning someone had pushed a dog turd through the letterbox. That's that little mystery solved then, I guess :(

Me and my boyfriend are both with o2 and haven't got anything, neither has any other o2 customer by the looks of it.

Are you sure it's from o2 and not an enemy trying to play a trick by poisoning you? :D

I get stuff like this from eBay from time to time.
Does make you feel good and, of course, helps ensure you remain a loyal customer.

My current favourite are the eBay xmas tree lights we got just before last xmas.

As a O2 business user we got sent a small box with a few tiny individually wrapped chocolate pieces in it.

Was it teapot shaped, to remind you of their customer services department?

I misread the title and wondered why Bono was buying everyone chocolate.

Seems they didn't foresee umpteen previously loyal customers undoing this solitary piece of good news by bemoaning their lack of chocolate! :D

So if you're an O2 subscriber and diabetic, screw you.
