Does Louis not understand what a "singer-songwriter" actually is?

Week after week, he keeps referring to Abi's piano performances as "doing your singer-songwriter thing"....He seems to think that playing someone else's song on a piano somehow makes a singer into a singer-songwriter! Doesn't he realise that you have to have written the song yourself to qualify for that title?
