Watching it on Sky and I'm confused. Same woman, English and American people. If this carries on right after the first film why is it American?

The first one was set in America. They were English women on an adventure holiday in the Appalachians.

Yeah, it confused me too OP, until I was also told that the first film was set in America.

Always felt it had an English setting.

I always thought that most of the women were Irish actually, except Juno - I think she was American?

I was like wtf at the ending,bit of a shock,so i guess..

The old guy was feeding the crawlers maybe to save his own ass?keeping them fed kept them down below and less likely to come hunting topside or possibly they could b have been his ancestors,the land was his and they descended in2 the caves and didnt return
