Two puppies have been found in a Merseryside park with chemical burns.

The animals, Staffordshire Bull Terrier pups, were taken to the Freshfields animal sanctuary.

The dogs are just four weeks old.

Magpie and Matilda are now both on the road to recovery but both may lose their sight, The vet bill is £2,500 and is being paid for by the sanctuary, which relies solely on donations.

Freshfields animal rescue is a non profit making charity caring for abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. I have actually donated money to this sanctuary and when i see stories like this it hits home just how much good work they do.

Their aim is for the 'misery to stop once they reach us, with each animal receiving the food, medication, socialisation and the love it needs'. Why can't we all treat our pets in this manner?

The person/people who did this should have the same done to them. They'll go on to be serial killers. Give me just five minutes alone in a room with them. Mad face.!!!!!1111!!!!

    etc etc

Freshfield animal rescue center is not the best place for abandoned animals tbh, they only keep them for a couple of weeks and if noone comes forward to adopt the animal they are put to sleep, the dogs trust is much better.

What cuties! Very relieved someone found them and they are safe now. They will get good homes.

    Or not.

Perhaps you should check your facts before trying to discredit a charity.
