DS says that Oprah Whinfrey won the best actress oscar. She didn't, she was nominated for best supporting actress but didn't win.

    I aleady emailed the guy who wrote it - I doubt I'll get a reply.
    The Color Purple and The Turning point are the only 2 movies with the most nominations and not to have won a single one!
    Not even the winning the 'Best Actress' which annoyed me - she was only 'Supporting'
    What can you expect from a Big Brother reporter?

    You could say that Halle Berry and Denzel Washington being awarded the Oscars a few years ago was the opposite kind of statement made by the Academy to the statement they made by giving The Color Purple nothing.

    You could say that...and I just did! :cool:
