Sound Cutting Out On Recordings:

We have a problem on the box in the lounge which happens with our recordings with the sound keeping on cutting out, we have had Sky come in the past a couple of times now and they have replaced cables as well as one time made a repair and I have recently swapped the cables round and I think it sorted it out just once of twice but now it is really bad and that is on any recording so do we need to call Sky back or try rebooting the box?.

If we need to reboot the box I fear it would not just be unplugging it as we have another problem along with some others here in the Northeast regarding problems with OnDemand and so I have obviously unplugged the box in that way which should have sorted the sound on recordings out, I am sure I read somewhere in these forums another thread with someone having similar problems.

    If you go to SETTINGS > SYSTEM DETAILS on your Sky box what is the "Version Number" & "Model Number" listed?
