This guy's western career is amazing.

Stagecoach
Fort Apache
She Wore A Yellow Ribbon
Red River
The Searchers
Rio Bravo
El Dorado
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
True Grit
The Shootist

Just these ten alone are regarded by many as all-time classics

What's your favourites of The Duke?

I like most of them but my personal favourites are
The Searchers
The Comancheros
El Dorado (I'm in the minority that prefers this to Rio bravo)

I've always hated Green Berets. Stupid, reactionary bullshit and by then Wayne was far too fat and old to play an infantry soldier.

Westerns are a different matter. The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance is a great film. I've always found it funny that Wayne is portrayed as the masculine tough guy juxtaposed with Stewart's weak, liberal milquetoast whereas in real life, it was Stewart who was a WWII bomber pilot whilst Wayne was safely at home in the US making propaganda films about just how great war was.
