If you need to ask how to get 15 points I suggest you may not be in as much need of it as others. If your genuine you shouldn't be trying to find out how to gain points.
I would not call it a "Test" but more of a very long winded Assessment carried out by many Specialists!!!
Its not a test u can go 2 your GP and ask for .
In my sons case many problems were flagged up at school and they called SALT in and they referred him on to CAMHS and after hours and months of appointment they then decided he was to to take the Assessment ...
It took months and 8 different doctors and personally i dont think they would ever do the test unless they were 99% sure the person was going to get a Diagnoses as it would be a huge waste of NHS funds.......

I think you are mistaken. The Atos test is to see if you are ill enough to get Employment Support Allowance (used to be incapacity benefit)
OP are you worried because you've heard how unfair the tests are?
I feel for you if so, and am sorry I don't know the answer to your question but I suggest you go into a lot of detail about your difficulties and take someone with you if you can. And appeal if you fail.
I just turned up and answered a few questions. It wasn't a problem as I was ill at the time. I had braced myself for them trying to trick me as you hear all sorts of horror stories but they were really nice.

I agree with this poster. I was very nervous going for mine, even though I knew I have a life threatening disease and awaiting a transplant, speaking to the people organising the medical frightened me to death as they were so un-helpful. When I got there, I had my friend help as I needed assistance in the examination room, and the doctors asks you what he/she needs to know. The truth is, if you have a genuine disability, you will be fine.

(sorry don't know how to quote)
I am genuine, but the ATOS examiner I saw wrote a pack of lies and exaggerations on his report about me, despite me having medical reports with me which he refused to look at. I then had to go through a year of stress waiting for a tribunal who were amazed I had been sent there and overturned the ATOS decision. ATOS apparently work on commission for each person they fail, the DRs used are often not expert in the illness/es specific to that person and if they cannot obviously see an illness by a person using crutches or walking sticks or relying heavily upon a person accompanying them then they often don't believe them.

I had the same experience too. Seems the only way for a lot of people to pass the medical is to fail it, appeal and then get the decision overturned by tribunal. There's a reason why there is a waiting list of up to, or even over, a year for ESA appeals and why so many appeals are successful.
Coincidentally I had my appeal 4 months ago and the DWP are already sending me off to Atos again

My GP said that they fail people because most fraudsters can't be bothered to appeal, but in my opinion its the fraudsters who make a career out of benefit claiming and know the process and entitlements inside out who are more inclined to appeal, its often the genuine who are exhausted and depressed by illness who often give up because they haven't got the energy.

I had one ATOS Dr lie on the form about what was said, as well as try and make a private sale to me during the consultation!
My most recent experience with ATOS has the examiner changing his mind about me half-way through the report. Says at the start that I use a stick, but ticked the "doesn't use a walking aid" box later on. Says I cannot wash or use a pan, but then later says I could probably wash or cook if I really wanted to.

That's heading to tribunal
Yeah mine that I successfully appealed was laced with lies and contradictions throughout.
I've just today posted the form back for my latest medical so will no doubt be having a fun appointment with someone with as much medical knowledge as Dr Fox in due course
Has anyone ever passed one with 15 or more points ? If so, how was it done ?
There is some relevant free and paid-for advice on this website here http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/. If anyone ends up needing to appeal then the local branch of the Claimants' Union of Citizens' Advice Bureau might be able to help https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/.
Isn't this a little like asking how to pass a lie-detector test? If you need to ask.......
Not really - although you could easily argue that the ATOS assessments are as unreliable as polygraph testing (there's a reason it's not admissible as evidence in court in the UK, and no matter what Jeremy Kyle says, it's NOT that accurate!).

What i find odd, is does this not cost more and more money ?
Have the government thought about an alternative to ATOS, which is clearly flawed in every way.

Would Mr. Dead fail an Atos assessment...
Someone99 was the poster in this thread who was confused about Atos and ADOS.
What makes you think that?
