When I'm on a web page I click the button that reduces it to the lower task bar, but I don't see it there, I can hear it. But can't restore it. Help please

    The only thing that should appear in the taskbar when you reduce any program is the program icon - when the program is still active it will have a box around it. Is that not happening?

    Which browser are you using?
    Does the same thing happen if you minimise other open programs?

    Try using Alt-Tab to see if you can switch to the browser.
