It depends what you want out of it. Is is fir domestic use only? I'd go for the Bosch, you get more out of a 3ah battery, 18v is more than adequate and the brand is good. Worx and Mc are Imo, not great but cant comment on JCB or Stanley drills.
As you are going for a cordless model, try to find a brand that you like and trust, and stick with it. If you buy any other cordless tools at a later date, there is nothing worse than having incompatible batteries and chargers.
I don't know much about drills but my OH always buys DeWalt which I believe you can buy quite reasonably for domestic use. They seem to last for years.

That's the 1.5Ah version, which is perfectly ok for domestic use. If the OP had found a Bosch for around £100 with Li-on 3Ah batteries, that would be a better purchase Imo. I have a Makita LXT Li-ion 3Ah, i use it every day at work and it can last 3 days heavy use before needing a 30 min charge.
but only has 1 battery or do you think the Bosch recommended by Mark39London would be better - it has 2 batteries but as you quite rightly say only 1.5Ah.
Thx for your time and opinion!
Pete
I bought this 10v one to put a fence up. B&Q had it at £50 a few months ago. It's pretty good and charges quick but the screwdriver gives up the ghost on larger screws.
OP, you don’t say what the main usage for the combi- drill will be, and this ‘advice’ may be completely superfluous but IF you use it for lots of ‘screwdriving’ i.e. deck fitting etc, then an ‘impact driver’ is a superb alternative tool.
Much easier and far less tiring than using a combi drill/driver for that particular application.

It all depends on its intended use, domestic or professional?
I've got a cordless drill and hedge cutter, both Bosch and both like brand new......but useless.
The batteries lasted around two years and now no longer hold any charge and the price of a new battery is almost as much as the cost of the entire thing. Not impressed at all.
OK i know these were domestic use but by comparison during my years of fiddling around with cars, i had a B&D drill which lasted 25 years and a Bosch hammer drill which is now 23 years old and still fully working. Both 240v drills.

Don't buy any cordless drill, unless you absolutely need to. A wired (mains plug in) make equivalent drill, whatever make it is, will outperform in my opinion. See post above.
Bosch is a general safe bet.
Screwfix are doing a Bosch combi drill for £99-99 right now in their Summer 2015 catalogue. Product codes are 8160G and 28488. It's got a 3.0 Ah Li-ion battery.

But just do some searching on google you can find reviews for basically nay item these days.
A 'little' more
My Makita drill & driver set costs £450.
As I said before, it depends on its intended use. For domestic use only, £100 is adequate to spend.
If you are using it occasionally, make sure the batters is Li-ion. Older NiCad batteries are cheaper but suffer from memory effect and don't last as long.
An example of a Bosch at £99 and it comes with two Li-ion batteries.
Edit. The same item was/is on sale in B&Q for £82

Don't leave a spare battery in charger for weeks in a cupboard and knacker it, as I did.
Batteries connected to drill for weeks (and months) seem fine
Make sure any drill has a hammer setting (if required) and is not just a drill/driver
Pull2Open - what do you think of this - http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gsb-1800-18v-3ah-li-ion-cordless-combi-drill/8160g

I'd also check whether places like Toolstation or MachineMart are selling the equivalent, as a price comparison check.
Domestic - I'm not a pro but very keen DIYer! Cheers Pete
My 'favourite' so far is the £82 B&Q Bosch posted earlier
