Best Lip Stain?

Hi there, I'm looking for a decent lip stain, because I'm sick of lipstick lasting about twenty minutes, plus I don't like the 'lipsticked' slick look sometimes, and lip stains are not only a little more natural looking but they last longer.

Some of the drugstore ones, the felt tip type applicators, look like they'd run out as soon as the air got to them? I've tried Benefit Posietint and Benetint but both are much too liquidy and mostly end up on my fingers than my lips.

I'm so tempted to go for the By Terry one which is raved about, but it's so expensive. Any ideas?

I've had a Max Factor one for a while now, one of the felt tippy ones, and its lasted absolutely fine for me. Some people have said that its dried up after 1 use (mine hasnt) so make sure the caps on properly, i'm suspecting thats gonna be their problem

I have 2 of the Max Factor lip tints and they wear off very quickly - one drink and they need reapplying and look patchy.
I like the Bourjois water-based lip stain but the pot makes application messy (all over my fingers!) but you can't fault the product.
Also love Benetint and Posietint, but you're right - they are watery.

These YSL ones are lovely, like a stain and a silky gloss in one.

I've been using the Rimmel one for about 6/8 weeks and haven't had any problems with the tint. But a few uses after I bought it, the balm bit snapped which is really annoying

You know what I've liked, the 2true one you get in superdrug. It lasts an age even when eating and drinking, though it is drying so lip balm deffo needed oer the top

I got a Pixi one from TK Max - it's good but doesn't like as long as you'd think it would

I ended up going with Soap & Glory 'Cheekmate' (it's a cheek and lip stain) and it's really good, long-lasting, not that drying for a lip stain and a lovely colour (it only comes in one colour which could be a downfall). It's on offer for £6 at the moment, too.
