Expect it will be Paul today and a win for The Chaser.
Well, you were 50% right! Really pleased for Susan, bet the other three are kicking themselves more now! BTW, how did you know it was going to be The Sinnerman? I hardly ever guess right.
Yes. A bit dubious that.
I can't believe he didn't know the right answer.
Never mind. I'm so glad she won.
He wasted so much time as well on the answer he gave, must have been thinking of when kids used to get two cans connected with long piece of string and pretend they were walkie talkies
Well, I was shouting out RICHARD THE FIRST!
I thought he said the same.
It really sounded like Richard III (on my tv) so I ran it back and it still sounded like it, but I put subtitles on and that said Richard I. So my ears, or my tv then.

Ohhh don't go by the subtitles. They're rubbish.
My hearing isn't good so I always have the subtitles on. They so often get it wrong.
I remember watching Trooping the Colour back in June. The subtitles told me that the royal cabbages were entering the parade ground. They meant 'carriages' of course!

You could see that he was angry at himself for messing it up, when he realised he couldn't catch her. No way did he throw that one.

She played it smart in the cash builder, not umming and ahhing too much, what a great win
Has anyone answered if 50k is the biggest win?

On recorded programmes, the subtitles are usually correct.
The highest ever won by a single player was Larry in Series 6 - he won £60,000 against Mark in a 15-step Final Chase. Mark scored 14.
This week it's been:
Monday - Anne
Tuesday - Mark
Wednesday - Shaun
So...
Thursday - Paul
Hopefully Anne again tomorrow.
Nah, I remember seeing a guy win £60,000 once on his own. It was a fantastic as well, because the guy was SUPER likable.
No, the Chase is recorded beforehand. There haven't been any live shows, not even the celebrity editions.
Well, that's not my experience. And BBC is just as bad as the other channels.
They're all dreadful.
I thought Paul said Richard III too.
You've misunderstood the post you were replying to. The Trooping of the Colour was live, not The Chase
That is such a pathetic excuse! >:(
Nice one Barry! £35,000!
Well done Janice for not going with minus offer. She seems quite smart, hope she gets through.
