During the adult version, I was surprised that the contestants didn't have their hair tied back. In CMC (UK) Audley wears a hair net, yet Jessie and several others had their flowing locks tumbling here there and everywhere.

I will never watch The Junior version again, as it makes me really uncomfortable seeing them upset when eliminated. That doesn't 'entertain' me.:(

It's amazing how much he's lost. Good for him! I like Graham - he seems like a thoroughly nice chap.

Well I imagine that just like the UK there is no legal requirement to wear hairnets even in restaurants let alone on reality shows.

series 9 of this started tonight on Watch

Joe isn't a judge any more, he has been replaced by someone called Christina Tosi who is a specialist pastry chef

It's not series 9, it's series 6. My Tivo has it labelled as 9 as well for some reason.

Yeah, the last one was mislabelled as well. Shame Joe has left, I liked him.

The American version annoys me. All that whooping and hollering....not to mention the distinct lack of self-modesty.

I am quite enjoying it. Gordon Ramsay is ok and the new lady fits in well. My favourite is Aussie MC though.

    its certainly a different approach

they really seem to try and pick odd characters regardless of their cooking ability

those cinammon rolls they did for the pressure test last night were a train wreck
