I'll agree with you, it started Like a bad bad period pain and quickly turned into agony, I couldn't stand up, a trip to a&e an injection in the backside and loads of painkillers just about took the edge off, I just hope it never happens again.
Slammed my thumb in a taxi door. Afterwards, I fainted from the pain twice. Got kicked out of the pub I was in for being drunk despite having not touched a drop of booze. I was so woozy from the pain. My nail went black and fell off a few days after. Lovely.

It seems silly compared to some of the stuff I've read on here, but it really was hellish.
