I had been looking forward to this since I first heard it was coming on.After ten minutes my husband said 'What do you think of this crap...?' My sentiments exactly. Such a shame

Very good bits - Haydn Gwynne particularly good as the scheming Camilla, but lots of funny moments.

Well I'm surprised to the mostly positive comments on here... but each to their own.

    I thought it was dreadful.
Most unfunny thing I've seen for some time. Gave up after Ep.1

    And I loved Star Stories.

It's funny in parts. Camilla, Fergie, B&E and The Arse are good.

I thought the second episode was much better than the first, Scheming Camilla is brilliant and a lot more of the jokes landed. I liked it a lot

Watched the first two episodes last night and thought it was a hoot; I'll be interested to see what complaints it gets though. I mean, calling Kate a gypsy and inferring Pippa's sh@gging Harry is sailing pretty close to the wind even in this less-than-deferential age...!

Did House of Fools fans recognise the actress playing Eugenie? It took me a while and I had to look her up. Recognised Morgana Robinson as Pippa obviously.

I like the fact that in the main they haven't cast slavishly close lookalikes, it seems to make the cartooney aspect of it work better. In that respect it reminds me a bit of Sue Townsend's play The Queen and I which I saw 20-odd years ago. Certainly far funnier than anything that dreadful Newzoids managed last year :(

The chap playing Wills (who I also didn't recognise at first from W1A) puts me in mind of Matt Smith :)

Kate getting Ebola but still travelling up north wearing a mask was quite funny. The references to her gypsy heritage is funny also.
Didn't get the "gypsy" reference at all. Where did that come from?

It's evidently a reference to Kate being a "commoner" (well, "kind of", although she's not really), but extrapolated a little further! :D

Thought it was a bit patchy, but the supremely sexy and hilarious Morgana is always a must-see for me. I'm rather fond of Katy Wix too, so I'll be sticking with it. Queen Liz Hurley and her wayward family in The Royals on E! absolutely wipes the floor with this though.

This might have made a half-decent 10 minute sketch but it was mainly infantile.
    Camilla was OK.

There were definitely strong bits, Camilla I thought was hilarious

and some parts I laughed purely because it's quite funny to imagine the real royals behaving this way

But I am not keen on Pippa, Wills and Harry

First rule of Fergie - no one mentions Fergie.

Katy Wix is the weakest link in this show.

It's just OK as a comedy, but the humour is extremely simple and obvious for the most part.

I don't think it's that "obvious", to be fair. I've never heard anybody insinuate that the Duchess of Cambridge is a gypsy, her sister is bonking Prince Harry (maybe I read the wrong things) or that Camilla is a Lady Macbeth figure out to get herself on the line of succession... It all struck me as quite imaginative. Certainly more so than just the usual false-eared "Eurghhh..." variety of Prince Charles impression (though Harry Enfield does that very well :))

I had to look up who Alan Hansen was (a sports presenter apparently), but I don't see the resemblance myself!

Like I say, he reminds me of Matt Smith! (Hugh Skinner in this, not Alan Hansen :))

I gave up after less than 10 it was sh*t. Was this an example of how not to make a comedy show?

I'm one of them. I watched the first ten minutes the switched over.

I wouldn't be surprised if half of them didn't even know there was a second episode straight after, even if they did enjoy the first one - you know what audiences are like... :D
