Will need a FTA partner, this edition only has limited Athletics.
but judo has announced this will act as their European Chauonships.
Think Judo is also having Para Athletes in it this edition,
Could have done Para Athletics in the streets games, maybe.
With 100 days to go, broadcast deals for Poland and Denmark.
Reports that 55 deals in place.
Believe GB and Russia are in the few European nations without a TV deal.
Another deal may be announced tomorrow.
Simon Clegg, chief operating officer of the Baku 2015 European Games, is "confident" that television broadcasting deals will be made with Britain and Russia before the inaugural event gets underway on June 12.
He added that there would be further announcements on broadcasting deals within the next fortnight.
With just over ten weeks to the event, is there a cut off point where a broadcaster cannot pull, the resources to cover this event?
Could we be watching You Tube?

Hope so! Wouldn't mind the BBC covering it by just showing the world feed rather than have hosts on location. That way we may actually see some sport rather than watching it in the background as some talking heads waffle on.

They are probably beyond that point already to do a comprehensive job.

That's a point, their coverage of the indoors was dreadful, but even so if this is on pay-TV only then you might as well bury it now.
I would imagine that whatever the outcome, it will be available on the web Eurovision feeds so we get the pictures without the inane waffle.

Well Simon was right, he has Australian Channel Seven on board.
But still nothing for Russia and Britain, starting to look rather stupid now.

Unless they get FTA the games will not take off.

This is the type of niche that BBC should really go for, BBC4 or BBC Red Button may get it for peanuts.
Despite the multi sports format, the BBC would only be able to cover one sport, IMO with all the cutbacks.
A lot of sceptics for this, understandable. Whilst we in GB get a Commonwealth Games, the rest of Europe are going to make, break this event, I feel.

I would think all of it live on BT and the odd live coverage on BBC Red Button. Plus highlights of it on BBC2 in the 23:20 slot.

There are but surely they are not even going to consider this crap, Baku equals shithole equals shit country equals no interest.😝
Azerbaijan is a terrorist friendly state, any idiot that goes there of their own free will needs sectioned.

Shame no Russia or UK deal yet.

Seven must really be desperate to want this crap, Baku 2015 - the friendly terrorist games.😃
Maybe they are paying the broadcasters to cover it?
Could Pick TV not cover it live? Lol
