At 16 I thought people didn't like me, and that made me very very shy and unconfident. Something (FINALLY) ticked in me one day that made me realise that I am liked, and would be more liked if I wasn't so reserved. I'm still quite introverted, but I am much more confident about who I am, and am generally a much much MUCH happier person than I was then.
When you're 17, never try to persuade Blokes on the Doors of Pubs and Clubs that you're 18 and therefore old enough to go in. Insist that you're 19 instead, and you look young for your age.
Karma almost always takes care of itself. The longer it takes, the harder it hits. Don't be tempted to dish it out yourself, just move on and be happy.
Ignore left wingers, they think they are bright, but they do not understand humanity.
I can't honestly see a group of 16 year old's being very enthralled by that message. 6 year olds might listen, a bit.
I would say:
1) It is very, very unlikely that your schooldays are the happiest of your life. Almost everything gets better later.
2) Almost every mistake can be undone, one way or another. Just don't kill anyone, kill yourself or insult your dying grandmother. Life is full of second chances, third chances, even 33rd chances.

Add 'or your peers'
But expand it:
Never be afraid to question things.
If people say 'that's great' or 'you should behave in a certain way' it's good to ask why.
Interesting off shoot from a thread about some wedding.....
My old mum told me that and it never failed.
Exactly.
The person who said you can't buy love didn't know where to go shopping.
or
don't have kids until you grow up
