Corrie Omnibus Edition: Seamless

I watched the omnibus edition of Corrie this afternoon and honestly couldn't tell where it switched from recorded to the live episode and back to recorded again. It was completely seamless and there was no difference in the acting. Considering they had to rebuild the crash site just for the live episode, the continuity was fantastic.

    Do you think that there might be another Coronation Street outdoor set built somewhere else?
    I read ages ago that it was being moved because of HD coming in.

    The only major difference I found was Anthony Cotton's acting got a lot more melodramatic in the live episode compared to the rest.

    (Not intended as a Cotton bitch as I really don't care about him one way or another but if you compare Sean on Thursday with Friday you'll see there's a big difference).
