    This is good thread ha
I'm gonna do it how they usually cast dramas in the UK and are favorites with castings such as these, as well as who I think would fit.

Jack is deffo James Nesbitt, there isn't no one else in my mind.

Kate= Suranne Jones, Sarah Parish, Keely Hawes.

    Juliet= Tamzin Outhwaite.

Locke. I actually think Timothy Spall would be better as Locke or Tim Healy they could make him a geordie.
'Don't tell me what I can't do man'

Sawyer, tricky one, but i'll go with Marc Warren he does the bad boy with a heart well, can do humour and I know he can con.

Clare, well if they make her welsh, then Joanna Page could be Claire.

Hurley= James Corden, he's flavour of the month for any slightly over weight funny guys.

Desmond= David Tennant. He could go all unshaven and grow his hair and give it a bit of 'seeya in another life brvva',
could deffo pull of the love story with a Penny, and not even have to change his accent.

Sayid = Art Malik, he is the only person, other than Naveen Andrews lol.

Ben= Chris Ecclestone he always gets weilded out for anyone a bit weird and can play a mysterous villain.

    Sun and Jin.
They'd have to change them to British Asian so
Sanjeev Bhaskar and Meera Syal, who did Kumars at no 42 could do the married doubt act.
I can't think of anyone else who could play them.

Charlie= Dean Lennox Kelly. He always, always plays any northern character, usually from Manchester, needed in a drama.

    Think of more later.

Yeah and they are going to rename it "a touch of lost" with David Jason starring...

He plays a grumpy yet loveable first day on the job London cabbie who's satnav has packed in...

    David Jason could be Bernard

I'd reckon there'd have to pick relative unknowns or people who have had past success but have fallen out of the spotlight like in the real Lost

The idea of a british lost kinda depresses me,
because I think of british production values,
If the idea was made first in britain I am pretty sure It would flop pretty bad.
Maybe not in the 50's and 60's but certainly now.
Actor wise, I agree with a previous post use unknown or has been actors, you will get a much better perfomance.

I agree mainly unknown actors, maybe a few veterans too plan characters like Locke and Ben.

HMM who would play Jacob and MIB??

I don't mind who acts in it just as long as they make up for the poor ending it had in the US version.

I hope Sky never remake it as they couldn't do it justice. If they did then Robert Carlisle as Locke because he was great playing a similar character in SG:U :)
