watched this movie over the weekend, and to be honest, didn't expect much from it. was thinkig it was going to be some short animated thing or somethingg

but it was actually a really feell good movie, and 1 i would be happy to suggest to anyone who likes a good family film

who else has seen it?

    Hi Emily,

    This film is five films of this year so far. Looking at trailers and listings for other films released this year I think it stands a chance of keeping a place by the end of the year.

    I watching the coverage of the Oscars and it was mentioned that lots of people weren't happy that Emma Thompson didn't get a nomination.

    I'm not sure I would suggest it as a family film, only because I don't think a lot of this generation have seen Mary Poppins, so won't really get the references in the dialogue. My kids are 18 and 13 and have never seen the movie, but they've heard of 'supercalifragilisticexpialadocious'. :) I suppose that's my fault, I do like the film, I guess Nanny McPhee is their 'Mary Poppins'.
