Ho good is this film :D

Seriously, I found it really entertaining, creepy and very well acted by all.

I also did not see the twist coming at the end- would highly recommend this :D

just watched this with Mrs Chaff; one of the worst films ever. Peter Saarsgard was d-readful.

Crap film. The format's been done a million times before. It's just a case of inserting a different twist.

Oh it was the usual ending to these type of films
Mother and the 'Orphan' fight. End up in a frozen lake. Mother thinks she's killed her. Orphan comes back for one last attack to make the audience jump. She finally gets killed. Film over. Same ending as 'Hand that Rock the Cradle', Single White Female, Fatal Attraction etc

I quite enjoyed this one, better than the average horror film anyway.

The girl playing Esther put in a good performance I thought.

Already? I won't be long before the likes of District 9, Zombieland and Paranormal Activity are on the terrestrial channels!

Maybe it's one of those films that they had a part in or possibly they thought this was the kind of film to splash the budget on.

It's a Warner Bros film (the UK distributor is Optimum though).

It finished it's run on Sky Movies a few months ago, so it's not really that surprising that it's appearing on terrestrial.

I imagine that Paranormal Activity will get it's terrestrial premiere nearer to Halloween, while PA2 appears on Sky Movies around the same time (to coincide with the release of PA3).

Really? I never saw it listed on Sky. You sure you don't mean Box Office?

My daughter told me to watch this as she saw it on DVD at her mate's. Great film, really enjoyed it, although I knew the twist beforehand.

Can anyone explain where the son was at the end of the movie or was he just conveniently forgotten about?
