The wife refuses to watch the eps with him in it now.

    Were there two episodes?

    Squeeze and Tooms?

Tooms was the only one I remember being really spooked by. Oh and the one (I can`t remember the name) where Scully thinks she`s being visited by angels, or something loike that, and is worried that no-one`s listening. But then I was always very fond of Scully.

Toombs in the obvious one, but my vote goes to Boggs from Beyond the Sea too, superbly played by Brad Dourif (Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings) and creeps the hell out of me, even though he never leaves his prison cell.

It's still got to be Phaster for me. Thing that really scared me about it, is that characters like him are real. Tooms is a liver eating monster, creepy yes, but only in your nightmares. People like Phaster and the guy from paper hearts really do exist. Someone like Phaster could be living near by. not very likely, but possible.

    Flukey....if a sewer-dwelling, tapeworm-like humanoid counts as a 'villain'.

'The Host' is still my favourite MOTW episode.

    The Peacock family in Home

    and

Eugene Victor Tooms in Squeeze and Tooms

both creepy enough to make the old Universal Monsters look childish.

The one i remember was with a boy who had big insects living inside him. Does anyone remember which episode this was.

I think the episode started with someone having an accident wearing an helmet and taking the helmet off and there were bad head injuries.
