If you mean two routers plugged into two phone sockets on the same phone line then the answer is no.
Well i now have 2 wireless box iv's, the original one was moved up to the living room as i had a crap connection for netflix on the ps3
so i had to hard wire to the ps3. But as a result my son is now reporting a crap connection on the xbox slim using wireless?
You cannot plug the two routers into the same phone line. There is a possibility you could plug a lead from a LAN port on the router plugged into the phone line to a LAN port on the second router to use the second one as effectively an extender for the first.
You may be able to get it to a position where it gives a better wireless signal for the xbox then the first router.

Or do you mean use one purely in sub-router mode hanging off the other?
