    I haven't said that an exam is going to be missed, I'm asking if there is a possibility that both can be attended.

    What date is the exam? Has he definitely been put in to re-sit this exam? I ask this in-case the school may not have entered him in yet as the exam is in late June.

    Miss the exam and go to the wedding. It's his sister for God's sake!!! OP, may I ask what subject it is, what year he's in and is it in March or May/June? Because I know quite a lot about GCSEs and it would help me to understand. :)
