People keep coming up with Miranda Hart's name - in previous (many previous!!!!!!!!!!) threads on this same subject it's been said that she's stated that she couldn't do it due to a back problem (if I remember rightly).
Most of the people that keep getting named I'd need to google anyway! I would like to see Helen Skelton take part as she's done so many other great challenges she'd really enter into the spirit of the show. I'd like to see a good spread of age groups as well - many of the lists have a preponderance of older people and you really have to be able to keep the interests of all the fans in order for the show to keep going (IMHO)
It would raise her profile and I am sure she would be made into a "national treasure" like Widde.
The judging would certainly be interesting to watch.
But sadly, even though she's seemingly itching to do it, I don't think it's going to happen - I'm old enough to remember "It's a Knockout - gate" and that put an end to the royal media love-in . Maybe they should give the new generation a chance again?
OK, none of these will happen, except maybe the first one, but just for fun:
Lacey Turner
Philip Glenister
Ade Edmonson
Victoria Wood
Art Malik
Zara Phillips (not because she's Royal but because she's a 3-day Eventer and we haven't had anyone from equestrianism)
David Tennant
Catherine Tate
Billie Piper
Maureen Lipman
Dara O'Briain
Oops, forgot! Obviously, Tom Ellis and Tamson Outhwaite ..
Kate Bush
Rosie Marcel
Jimmy Anderson (cricket)
Any of The Inbetweeners
Howard from Take That
Amy Nuttall
Amanda Holden
David Ginola
Bill Bailey
Keysha Sugababe

I know this is a wish list but I think any of the above would be fantastic for the show.
I can really see her doing it.
It would raise her profile and I am sure she would be made into a "national treasure" like Widde.

I've never forgotten their paso which was danced to "Bring me to Life" by Evanescence. Bruno said it was "very eighties and Flashdance"!
I love Flashdance by the way.
I'm trying to think of some names but I don't watch much TV these days and don't really follow sport, so I'm struggling.....
