Hello everyone and welcome to the very first Bottom Six Mini League! TheSloth has been compiling a mini league involving the teams at the top for the last few seasons, so I decided why not do one involving the teams at the bottom? These are comprised of the teams that finished 15th-17th last season, plus the three promoted clubs: Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Burnley, Middlesbrough and Hull will be fighting it out.
It is of course subjective - these teams will not necessarily be the bottom six at the end of the season, however they are treated as such for the purpose of this mini league. Also, as seen with TheSloth's mini league, the teams that finish top/bottom of the mini league do not necessarily reflect their real table positions, as seen with Man. United winning it despite finishing 5th and Man. City coming bottom - below the likes of United, Liverpool and Chelsea, who were below them in the real table.
Here's the fixtures for the teams involved, the first of which is on Sunday, involving Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
Sunderland v Middlesbrough (21/8/16)
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth (27/8/16)
Burnley v Hull (10/9/16)
Middlesbrough v Crystal Palace (10/9/16)
Sunderland v Crystal Palace (24/9/16)
Bournemouth v Hull (14/10/16)
Middlesbrough v Bournemouth (28/10/16)
Burnley v Crystal Palace (4/11/16)
Bournemouth v Sunderland (4/11/16)
Sunderland v Hull (18/11/16)
Middlesbrough v Hull (2/12/16)
Burnley v Bournemouth (9/12/16)
Hull v Crystal Palace (9/12/16)
Burnley v Middlesbrough (25/12/16)
Burnley v Sunderland (30/12/16)
Hull v Bournemouth (13/1/17)
Bournemouth v Crystal Palace (31/1/17)
Crystal Palace v Sunderland (3/2/17)
Crystal Palace v Middlesbrough (24/2/17)
Hull v Burnley (24/2/17)
Middlesbrough v Sunderland (10/3/17)
Sunderland v Burnley (17/3/17)
Hull v Middlesbrough (4/4/17)
Middlesbrough v Burnley (7/4/17)
Bournemouth v Middlesbrough (21/4/17)
Crystal Palace v Burnley (28/4/17)
Sunderland v Bournemouth (28/4/17)
Hull v Sunderland (5/5/17)
Crystal Palace v Hull (12/5/17)
Bournemouth v Burnley (12/5/17)
What does everyone predict for this mini league - who's gonna blow the other teams away and who will struggle to pick up points?

Good work! I think Palace and Sunderland should romp this with Hull and Burnley struggling.
Hull to finish bottom.
Not sure on Middlesboro yet.
Benteke's a decent signing for Palace and in theory I'd expect them to do quite well in this now, but as their league form dropped off a cliff around November/December last season and still hasn't recovered who can be sure? Wouldn't be surprised if Pardew is replaced during the season.
Moyes might not have covered himself in glory with his recent jobs but I'd be surprised if their wasn't some improvement with them.
I think Bournemouth will do ok.
They take an early lead in this! Sunderland of course drop to the bottom on goal difference.
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth is next up, on Saturday.
West Ham looked very poor as well but they have most of their first team out injured so they might improve as the season progresses
Not bad starts from Hull (especially), Burnley and Middlesbrough though still very early days of course.
Not much changed there!
Burnley v Hull and Middlesbrough v Crystal Palace are next, both on 10th September!
Crystal Palace leapfrog Middlesbrough after beating them 2-1 and Burnley and Hull join Bournemouth on a point each!
Next up is Sunderland v Crystal Palace on the 24th.
Palace stretch their lead to 4 points, while Sunderland lose their second game in this table (and both have been at home).
Next is Bournemouth v Hull on the 14th October!
They move up to second, three points behind Crystal Palace! Hull's GD has taken a bit of battering now.
Next game is Middlesbrough v Bournemouth on the 29th October!
They leapfrog them and move a point behind Crystal Palace. Next up on the 5th November we have Burnley v Crystal Palace and Bournemouth v Sunderland, two games that could really change the outlook of the table or could put Crystal Palace and/or Bournemouth in commanding positions at the top!
Could with perhaps more good reason been West Brom or Swansea?
Read the first post.
...which they will hope to do when they play away to Sunderland on the 19th November! A win for Hull would really tighten things up at the bottom - 1 point separating the bottom four teams - but a win for Sunderland would suddenly put them level on points with Middlesbrough and in the fight for top spot in this table! A draw wouldn't really be useful to either side though.
Next up we have Middlesbrough v Hull on the 5th December - a win or draw for Boro takes them to the top; a win for Hull moves them level on points with Burnley and Bournemouth.
Shall, er, I tell him, or will you?
Haha.
