Well, tbh, like I said there is an element of the execution here I think. I do feel the reset in series 3 was quite poorly executed. I am a big fan of RTD, but it left me rather unsatisfied because it felt like the resoultion was invented at the last moment. Here we see the resoultion spread far and wide through the series. That to me is the main reason people are being less critical here is because they are generally more satified of it.
That's it exactly. The whole of this series has felt like it was planned out from the beginning, everything tying into everything else. The last few didn't.
