  Slightly off topic but the method you use to 'obtain' US TV shows can be used for songs too.

  I know, I know, but I prepare to buy music...though I wouldn't mind getting a few lossless versions of what I've bought...

  Just drag the files into iTunes or add them to the library using file > add to library. Or read the help that comes with iTunes.

  I got it in the end.
  
  I used iTunes to burn the songs and it worked...
  
  Before, I was using Nero...

  just highlight all the songs and drag and drop them into itunes

  edit, only drag and drop when saved on your hd
