I found it awful but I might stick with it to see if it becomes more original.

I'd skip all of season one if that's your issue with it. I'd reckon your knowledge of the UK show would fill in any gaps with the backstory in season two, and it does diverge at that point

It's alright this version. I think the acting is good but it's the writing I had a bit of an issue with. It just doesn't come to life as well as the UK does but I have yet to see the second and third seasons of this show yet.

;) Thanks will do that then. I think I was struggling with it being too similar but the characters not being as good or sympathetic as the UK one's.

I felt much the same way it really bugged me that they were telling the same story just with a lesser quality trinity. Though i think Sally comes across better than Annie did.

Once the story changes it's much easier to accept, just like in the UK version when we had a cast change you can see them as another group of people all together

Watching the third episode. Some differences starting, which is good.

    No one else watching it?

I'm watching it but struggling. One of the things I loved about the original series was the humour and that is missing from the American version. Although they are telling the same story there's none of the humorous side. It's taking itself very seriously.

It doesn't ever capture the humour.. It's a dark show..but really finds its feet as it develops..

I don't mind it but do miss the humour of the original series as already stated by some here. Last night I watched Josh reunite with his family. I loved the UK episode where they thought his dad was a ghost - that was missing. It is too serious.

The fact that vampires can be seen in mirrors and on camera will certainly change the outcome of the series. I see the porno cd is now in Aiden's hands. I am not sure how they will handle him becoming friends with a neighbour's son. The whole misunderstood paedo thing although such serious subject matter was hilarious. I can't see that happening somehow.

I have stuck with this and I'm glad I have. I really like Josh. I don't think that Aiden is as good as Mitchell, he doesn't portray the anguish in quite the same way. I am warming to Sally and I really enjoyed this weeks exorcism episode.

I'm really enjoying the US version of Being Human and we are nearly at the end of the first season.I just hope Watch have got the rights to the second season so they can show it straight away once they finish showing the first season!

Enjoying more than I thought it would. But didnt like the bit where Aidan threw the table with the pregnant woman on it over. Horrid.

Well they announced at the end of last week episode that this week episode is the series finale which I guess means that Watch have no plans to go straight into season 2!

I hope that its only a break of a few months before they show season 2 otherwise I may have to obtain it by other means!

Well it looks like I will have to obtain season 2 as Watch said after the season 1 finale that they are not showing season 2 untill the start of next year.I guess this means that Watch will show it but will always be two seasons behind the US!

What a stupid decision to not show season 2 until next year I mean the uk are already so far behind why couldn't they show it straight away

Maybe their budget for programming for 2013 wouldn't cover it.

I gave it a go despite hearing not so good reviews before. Whilst not nearly as good as our UK version I did enjoy this. Watch waiting a whole year to show season 2 is a bit of a downer though.

I'm a big fan of the UK series and it took a few ep's before I felt comfortable with the USA version but by the end I was hooked. The improved special effects were a nice bonus :D

    Roll on series 2!

As I've said numerous times love this show.. Tube talk reporting its. 2014 before season 2 comes to screen.. Seems silly as season 4 will have started in the us by then.. Season 3 is excellent not a dud episode in the 13 and the plots have taken some unexpected and exciting divergences from the uk show
