Congratulations to Barracute on top scoring the last 16 with a whopping 53. This comprised getting 7/8 right (just failing on Selby) and nailing two maxes in Robbo and Trump’s victories.

With so many one-sided matches gaining perfect scores wasn’t easy, so props to Truffle Shuffle, Xavier, Stunty and Tso on also double-maxing.

Some extra skin also to Xavier on nailing the bonus, which was 39 unplayed frames.

The only player to claim a shocker was Jimmy Connors correctly forecasting McGill would impose the Crucible curse on Selby.

Overall then, Stunty’s excellent round claims ascendancy on max countback from Jim Mc, who appears to be going for the purist route of winning the title on results only! Barracute leaps to third.
