What network is downloading it? Or have you got it from another source?

It's for unbranded ones, ones that aren't bought directly from the nwtwoeks

Official Over the Air update from Samsung/Three.

It is a contract phone from Three, the CSC code is BTU.

My Galaxy S4 on Three has finally had its update to Lollipop 5.0.1 that's only taken them 7 months since Lollipop was launched and are the last operator in the UK to roll it out >:(

    Dates are:

    Vodafone - 2nd April 2015
    O2 - 6th April 2015
    Unbranded (BTU) - 8th May 2015
    EE -12th June 2015
    Three - 15th June 2015

Why such a long wait with UK operators 2 months between Vodafone and O2 rolling it out followed by EE and Three. The unbranded version should really have been first.

Are there any instructions on how to use this new update?

My S4 updated today ( on Three) and i can no longer access menus to change settings? Only wallpapers, Which doesn't work and changes back to defaults.

Reboot phone and see if it helps. Settings menu works fine on mine and lets me access the usual stuff. Failing that a clearing cache or factory reset are the next options.

When it first booted after initial installation it was slow. Guess it was still sorting itself out. Left it 15 mins an rebooted then it was fine.

Given what ive seen people do have mixed results mind but my experience was fine.
