Not really I think Frankie's just trying to be a gentlemen. Plus he said 'tactically' so he probably thinks it'd spice things up a bit or something.

The whole twist ( in my opinion ) is shite. They should all be in the same place. BB are being childish and just want the divide:yawn:

He just keeps saying about women not having to be in the basement..as if they're too weak for it!

Heidi would survive the basement better than all of them.

completely agree. Detest all this gentlemen stuff. We are supposed to live in an age of equality - not much evidence on there atm.

If Frankie was all about keeping the ladies in the house and not the basement then why did he let Heidi go down there on opening night ??

Because it was the 1st night and he wanted to stay in the house..besides Rylan made it clear to him he didn't want to go to the basement

And yes, I'm a guy and I wouldn't be very happy to be chosen to go down to the basement simply because I can 'handle it better'

Tactically.. he looks good to the public if they think he's a gentleman.

    How?

Heidi was in good spirits, she was putting Razor forward to go up.

Frankie said he sent Spiedi up because he wanted it 'to kick off'.

Nothing to do with 'ladies first' at all, that was just a handy excuse.

But the reason to send Frankie to the basement was because "he's a bloke"

Frankie seems like the sexist tbh. He lead in always sending the women into the house and men into the basement on launch night. He said no woman should be in the basement when he sent Heidi into the main house though I appreciate he also saw the potential fire works there. It's just a pity for him that his sexism came back to bite him on the bum Ha!

Yeah I do think Rylan wanted an all-female house except for him, but the whole 'gentlemen' thing is stupid! X

But looking at the bigger picture Spiedi is the best entertainment choice for us as viewers, so just this once, yay to old-fashioned sexism!:D

yes completely agree (and I'm female). Its like the women are far too delicate to get their hands dirty with the basement. I wouldn't like the basement but wouldn't consider myself to have more right to the luxury because I'm female.

    Exactly

I wonder how they would feel if they were told the men were earning more just because they are men!!!!

(I know they are all opaid different for this due to perceived status, I'm just giving an example)

Seriously the whole house should have been made into the basement for all the housemates to endure for the 3 weeks
