Ok, aside from the obvious ones (Kylie, Mel & Kim) what are your favourite PWL singles ?
I was playing Donna Summer Love's About To Change My Heart and it's such an uplifting track. A classic.

I wish they would get some radio airplay never seem to these days rick astley and dead or alive are about the only two.
We should bombard radio stations to get them played. Stuff like mel n kim hazel Dean donna summer rick astley all still sound good.
Donna Summer - This Time I Know It's For Real
Mel & Kim - Respectable
"The artist formerly known as SAW."
Ill go with
Nothing's gonna stop me now by Samantha fox followed by I should be so lucky from Kylie, love in the first degree from Bananarama
My faves are also Kylie 'Better the devil you know'
Donna Summer ' This time I know its for real'
Sonia 'Can't forget you/ Listen to your heart'
PWL stands for Pete Waterman Ltd
oh i had forgotten about Sybil .. LOVED that single.
Kylie - better the devil and what do I have to do.
Donna summer - this time I know it's for real.
Less obvious ones are - any times the right time - princess (the whole album is a classic though!) And mAndy Smith - boys and girls.
Sonia - Listen to your Heart
Sybil - When I'm Good and Ready
Hazel Dean - Who's Leaving Who
Donna Summer - This Time I Know It's For Real
It's just so feelgood!
I've said many times before that the lyrics on that particular song are quite rare for a SAW produced track in that they are so joyous. Admittedly, she doesn't quite yet know if her love is requited but, for once, there's no reason to believe that it isn't.
Mike Stock's lyrics were almost always tragic, disguised of course with the happy-go-lucky melody, the plinkity-plonkity piano and the explosion in the metronome factory. With This Time I Know It's For Real you get the feel-good lyrics too.
Some of my other favourite SAW/PWL tracks are:
Mel and Kim - That's The Way It Is
Bananarama - I Can't Help It & Love, Truth & Honesty
Sinitta - I Don't Believe In Miracles
Boy Krazy - That's What Love Can Do
Donna Summer - When Love Takes Over You
Kylie - Better The Devil You Know
Lonnie Gordon - How Could He Do This To Me
Whenever You Need Somebody/Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley
You Spin Me Round-Dead Or Alive
I'd Rather Jack-Reynolds Girls
Got To Be Certain-Kylie
So Macho/Toy Boy-Sinitta
All 4 Mel & Kim singles
What Do I Have To Do/Step Back In Time/Shocked/Better The Devil You Know - Kylie
I Can't Help it - Bananarama
So Macho isn't a SAW production. It was produced by George Hargreaves.
