Is this not repeated? I should have recorded it for my stunning HD collection.

Definitely remember seeing a repeat on the EPG sometime this weekend. Might be sometime Sunday afternoon.

The soundtrack is beautiful as well. I wonder who composes the music, will have to remember to take a look at the credits at the end.

OK, that wide shot of the animals going to the water just then totally reminded me of Jurassic Park when Sam Neill sees the dinosaurs for the first time. Incredible.

I tweeted @BBCNature about the score, and they replied it's by the TV/Film composer Sarah Class (@sarahclass)

The giraffe's are just beautiful. :)

The music really is lovely. Perfect during the giraffe fight. He really does look like a battle-scarred old boy.

Brilliant first episode, the BBC just seem to keep outdoing themselves every time, love David Attenbrough's narration, the best in the business :D

That was fantastic - just when I think that BBC Nature has covered everything possible in Africa they come up with a new fabulous series.

The camera work is breath-taking. That scene by the watering hole was stunning - almost unreal.

Now that is how you film and show HD - Why can't the BBC do that all the time?

Can't Eastenders hire someone who knows how to do it?

I don't even want to watch Eastenders in normal definition, let alone HD.

I did actually wonder if CG had been used mazz - it was that wonderful.

Stunning camerawork and incredible production by the whole team and presented by the World's Greatest broadcaster, IMHO. Another must-see series, how do they do it?
