I bought a small circle plastic container for eating my soup from at work during lunch breaks, and I was reading the packaging for the container and expected to see the usual "Made in China" words. Instead, I saw the words "Made in New Zealand"!! The plastic container only cost just over £2 as well!
Have you ever been pleasantly surprised at which country an item you have bought has been made in?

They might not be on track with their civil rights but boy can they stitch an attractive top.
from my experience it seems to be a brummie thing..
Maybe not on the scale that we used to.
We still have some clothes factories, and furniture factories and steel making plants, for example.
I once saw a toiletries set that was made in China, then packed in Poland, for sale here. Erm hello, how much carbon footprint for a bit of soap!! Yet they have their 'plan A' carrier bag scheme...
Can't say I have.
I would be pleasantly surprised to find goods not made in China. When I went to New York and Australia I found all their souvenirs are made in China!!!
