What's really annoyed me is Harry has tried to turn it into the Harry Hill show, even when they did the only God knows song, he had to have himself right in the middle of it, was quite enjoying and could of been released as a charity single until he ruined it with that recorder playing trying to be funny
Really enjoyed that, some good singers, better the voice anyway, hope they bring it back next year, takes a bit getting used to harry though, that john legend guy had a superb voice
I agree, if they make less of the shit gags and more of the singing like tonight...it might have legs.
I have a feeling after tonight that it will be back - minus the pointless unfunny crap obviously.
The main reason being that the final was better than the other shows, plus, even more importantly it ended with a legitimate winner, i.e. somebody very talented.
This isn't "Stars in Their Eyes." It's Harry Hill's "Stars in Their Eyes."
For people who had seen Harry Hill before, they knew exactly what they were in for.
He's a comedian, not a talent show host, he never has been one.
So get over it.
"Stars in Their Eyes" in it's original form, will never come back, the format is far too dated.
Harry Hill has presented music on TV before you know! I wonder how many people remember him presenting Top Of The Pops on BBC1 back in 1995? I've got a copy of him doing so on an old VHS videotape.

That's a bit clutching at straws. Chris Eubank presented a TOTP episode too.
Remember? It's hard to forget! Yes they had some weird people present it in the mid 90's. I recall Robbie Williams doing one and introducing Celine Dion as Sealion Dion!

am chuffed with that result.
Perhaps he will join the cast of JERSEY BOYS after all...

He (and the cucumber) had been involved in one of the sketches in a previous show, can't quite remember the details!
Oh - I also liked the "choose a prize from our selection", very Crackerjack. You can tell Harry has a real love of the old school entertainment

R.I.P
Still trying to ignore the past I see, oh well... credit for persistence.
I'm not ignoring the past.

We can but hope. ;-)

Remember, "At Thix, Thithelia, by Thuggs?"

I'm afraid people have just got to accept this programme is as it was intended
No good complaining, as if it returns it'll be pretty much as it was.
"Stars in Their Eyes" in its original form is dead.

Just seen it on record in about 10 minutes. So I assume that would be the last series of that? They tried and failed.
