So we're going to Ireland.

Hope Damien comes back now the contest has returned to it's spiritual home.

It was indeed. Also her worst <_< but 3rd-9th-12th in finals is better than most returning artists!

How Melanie Wehbe can finish seventh in a MelFest heat and still reach the eurovision final with the same song I'll never know.

Just saw results. Congrats Fudd and Ireland. Thanks to everyone who gave Germany and Morocco. Both did better than I expected.

Typical me though, to be the only one not to vote for any of the top 4. My taste must be very different to the majority of the game. Lololol

And finally. How did France not do well. Literally already in my top 10 songs ever since I started. Should've done better imo!!!

Edit: And thanks Cuishla for being such a great host. Its had a new leash of life this contest

The Azerbaijan song that Jordan nearly won with didn't make the final in MelFest, it's a different type of contest I think. I checked and Melanie was fifth in MelFest, only just missing out, and it still deserved better than that. Had it lined up for Armenia since November, I agree with you, it's a good song.

They're more likely to vote for songs we'd view as cheats here.

Forgot to ask before Cuishla, do you have a list of which countries were picks and which were second countries in this contest? Always find that interesting.

Sorry, I really didn't 'get' Ireland at all, but congrats on the win Fudd nonetheless
