Can anyone explain one of the finger gestures on the remote control section to me,
A two finger swipe up or down jumps genre, where does it do this as I can't see anything happening on the tv when I do it! |

Nice update, now I can have his on my iphone as well, controlling the sky box,
Apart from adding this to the iphone, does not seem to be any other updates. |

Being able to use catch up would have been cool. Great app though, removes the need for magic eye in my bedroom. Apart from pesky standby!

i posted this in another thread but worth mentioning again
iPhone App still needs some work. No landscape rotation so grid mode is virtually useless. Tapping the status bar at the top doesn't auto scroll back to top. Channel logo for stv is wrong (shows itv1 logo). Channel logo for stv is totally missing when viewing planner. |

Do not really find the grid that bad on the iPhone and I'm using a 3gs. Not sure landscape would really make any difference, less channels with a little more time. I use the diagonal scroll mostly, that makes it feel bigger than it is. Tap the genre to go back to top. |

landscape rotation existed in previous versions and appears to have been removed. in portrait mode, you see very little in the grid, it really needs to be viewed in landscape mode. tapping the status bar is the default way of auto scrolling to the top, this is how every iphone app does it. |

It's also worth mentioning that the current iPhone version doesn't contain the clash management feature that the iPad app does.

i've also noticed that if you scroll thru the channels in, for example, "all channels", it affects the scroll position in all other categories too.
for example, in now and next, if i scroll down to 112 in "all channels", then change to "HD & 3D" it is sitting at 124. this is with both of them starting at 101. this makes no sense. at least if the scrolling is affecting all categories you would expect HD & 3D to also be at 112. i think the developers need to go back to the drawing board and fix these design inconsistencies. |
