Trailer just dropped for the new Vacation film, some great throwbacks to the original but it seems a lot more vulgar..

    Even though the sequels were not that great (apart from Christmas), I do have a soft spot for these movies.

    Liking the look of this, though it seems to suffer from the current penchant for comedy movies to try and out-gross each other.

    Tend to agree with that, it's like they can't make it funny without resorting to these cheap gross-out tactics.

    Really enjoyed the original and have got it on DVD, didn't think much of the sequels though. Think it's Chevy Chase's best film as Clark Griswold was a perfect character for him, also had the hots for Audrey (the daughter). Liked the theme tune as well. :)

    Definitely be watching this but having such a huge gap between films and different cast going to take it on its own merit.
    Love the Griswalds and don't think they can be recaptured without Chevy Chase leading as dad..but we will see.
    Christmas vacation is our fave Christmas film..closely followed by elf and nativity
