Well we knew he was lying, we didn't need to be shown anything, not that I actually saw the scene you're referring to.
It's played into his hands rather nicely that lie, otherwise he'd have taken ages to get round to asking her to marry him.
Ohh stepping out with Kathrine Jenkins, that's rather old fashioned show, thought TV was staying away from that sort of thing now.

I don't know but if that is his intention the plan is certainly working and I have to say that it is rather nasty of Gail. Yes (in her eyes) she did Lewis a disservice but she's doing her mother a bigger one now. And it's nauseating the way she fawns over him :rolleyes:

Something so secret that not even Tina is allowed to know and they're sitting in the factory where Kirsty works talking about it almost at the top of their voices not whispering furtively? Yeah, right Corrie.

If I worked with her I'd think she was absolutely barking after that display and give her a very wide berth! And she wonders why she's the subject of gossip in the pub?

That's a good point. What annoyed me is that he didn't even look too troubled that Fiz has been sacked because of HIS problems/loony girlfriend :eek: And Tommy was having to do all those jobs which led to the crash because of Kirsty putting the thumb screws on him for the money he owed Tyrone leading to Tina having a baby for someone for money. Yet Tyrone doesn't seem to have much of a conscience in either case. Perhaps they should've treated HIS problems with the same attitude? Fiz might still have a job now if she'd done that and Tina might not be pregnant!
Both tommy and tyrone wandered into the factory without anything or anybody preventing them. And did tyrone have any reason for going there? Other than plot development, of course.
